1 thing, don't, I repeat, DON'T ask me to join Unification of Japanese Artist page blabla or show your love for japanese artist blabla shits, I wont buy it.
why you ask? because it is such a bullshit
I wont join such a thing if last.fm still can't handle multiple artist tag, ie : 茅原実里 & 水原薫 is still considered a single artist and not 2 different artist (茅原実里 & 水原薫). foobar2000 can handle it, why can't last.fm?
Another issue, how is it Unification if you still use something like 柊かがみ(加藤英美里)? Its stats will go to 柊かがみ(加藤英美里) page and not 加藤英美里, the one who actually sing it(!)
Other problems lies when the artist in question change his/her name, ie : Uran who change her stage name to UR@N then change it again to AiRI, or 野上ゆかな who change her stage name to ゆかな
Last, I have a difficulties remembering song titles even with their romaji, how can I remember them using kanji? and when I asked what song I like the most from particular album, how would I respond? by telling them "its title is something no blabla wa dotdot ni BLARGH"?
Also, I listen to broad selection of musics, from western to eastern, from death metal to religious arabic and gregorian, almost 24/7 and most of them from artist that I didn't know and/or didn't care about. If I love a song to the point I buy its original CD then I'll tag it according to the CD case, if not, well I'll just leave it like that, maybe correcting typos or w/e and that is still much :effort: to do
