Drugs-Bunny What does remind you of Portrait on the new album? I am unsuccessfully listening and trying to find some Portrait references. But yeah, overall BV is a really great album. I do hope I'll manage to see him live during this tour (although I think the setlist he plays is kinda strange - I'd choose different songs from BV). Kubrick is the only directors whose 4 movies I rated with a pure 10 out of 10 ratings - those movies are A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Paths Of Glory & Shining. My favourite being A Clockwork orange (I even own a t-shirt). I gave Dr. Strangelove a 9 out of 10 rating, I had a gif of George C. Scott holding a phone as a profile picture here several months ago. My least favourite Kubrick movie is Eyes Wide Shut and I thought it was a pretty shitty movie.

I must say I'm completely amazed with BV, it gets better with every listen. Currently I'm analyzing the possible concept behind me but some songs still puzzle me. It's like he took all the highlights from the previous albums and put them all in one supreme ultimate album which is BV. How did your ancestor become rich? Yeah, I adore Kubrick, he is one of my favourite directors (others including Woody Allen & Akira Kurosawa). What's your favourite movie by him?

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about the Rob Zombie thing. Yes, Goon Moon are really great, you should definitely check 'em out. Licker's Last Leg is a damn good album. As I feared, the song you posted to me sounds really bad, Pogo's vocals are boring and uninteresting, that's a shame. Btw have a good trip to America, see you when you come back!
