When I was younger I was not allowed to purchase rock albums so I would would buy 45's - which was also very tricky with my parents. I would go to friends houses to hear the newest Beatles, Floyd, King Crimson, Byrds, Hollies etc. Once I was away at college I spent all of my extra money on purchasing my own albums which were all those mentioned above along with Styx, Queen, BTO, Uriah Heep, Moody Blues, ELO, Grand Funk Railroad, Doors, Yes, etc. Add to that a fairly decent classical music collection and my library has grown. One sad note is that at one point in time I sold over 300 albums at a ridiculously low price to one individual. But I have never considered myself to be overly brilliant. Ha!

As I've told so many of my friends and those that have dropped by, my last.fm account really only shows what I listen to on my computer in my office at work. When at home in my studio I often listen to my stereo system which is usually my record library consisting of album purchased back in my teens. Ha! And oh dear god - that was ages ago! So nice to meet you!
