Scrobbling since 25 May 2007, thank you for your service! Weren't you a member of the official Nine Inch Nails forum back in the day?

and likewise you, sir haha. I did browse forums back then but can't recall the official NIN forum tbh. I browsed Echoing the Sound, the old steampowered forums, and a gamecube europe forum a lot during that account creation timeframe. What about you?

Man, I discovered The Cairo Gang recently and they, respecitvely he, is amazing. He blends together Oasis riffs with Dirty Projectors vocal melodies and it sounds, at least to my ears, magnificent :D Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stWQvthBr_0

Sounds definitely like a great concert experience you had with him. :) I'm always checking his event schedule on his webpage so that I won't miss any of his concerts in Germany! :D What else are you listening to these days? I discovered the music of Bonobo's album "Black Sands", which is absolutely fantastic. :)

Sorry for taking to long to reply m8. my fav ambient album would have to be POP by Gas, you should totally give it a spin if you haven't already. I struggled to like it at first because it has some pulsating heartbeat bass line going on certain tracks, but once you get used to it it becomes quite mesmerizing. Each of the tracks contains a warm synthesizer drone that wobbles gently between two pitches and several layers of fuzzy electronic distortion, underwater vibes galore man, nuff said

Aww, amazing! I'm jealous now. :D I already wait for him to come to Germany this year, so that I can finally enjoy the show as well. Which songs did he perform best live? Haha, sweet! CMYK is indeed a great song. ;) I tend to react like this when I listen to his track Voyeur.

Out of the one's i've heard it would have to be either William Basinski's Shortwavemusic or Basinski's 92982. What about you? There is much ambient I've yet to hear.

I just discovered ALA.NI, she has a style that reminds me to old records by Judy Garland or even Sinatra. You have to give her a try!

Hello! Seeing as we have Super compatibility, and that you like Tame Impala and Pond, you should really check out Jagwar Ma. They're psychedelic electronic/dance from Australia. I have their album "Howlin" on vinyl and it's one of the best things I've ever heard. I think you would like them! :-)

They are seriously such an amazing band. Definitely check out heaven or Las Vegas next. That album is a grest starting point. Next try the loves easy tears ep. Also watch some of the music videos so you can familiarize yourself with their most accessible songs. I've always found that going from hit songs, to albums, and finally to b-sides and nom-album tracks is the easiest way to get into a band

wow. such a talanted guy, it's always good when someone's trying to cover electronic songs. a good example - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAa9diDQIV8 or like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-MzL-zNOII my parents's music taste consists of 90s and 80s bands, they say current music sucks because of hipsters killing the passion. i guess ur friends think u look like a maniac lol.

in electronic music there're a lot of good lenghty tracks, which don't let me get bored. only post-rock and prog.rock-bands can make actually fascinating long songs imo. dalek's great and far better than death grips. you can also check mujuice. though it's IDM but in russia only sad teenagers listen to him lol. i love Come to Daddy coz it's nostalgic and part of my childhood. actually, i love whole Richard D. James Album, but my favorite one is fingerbib i guess. you know, back in the day i had a cassette of RDJ Album, i dont remember year maybe 1999 or 2000. fuck me, i was freakin scared of that creepy cover-art but my parents were music buffs so their taste was excellent.
