Thanks for melding the two showcases together. We must've added them at the same time!

oh my gosh Margarita, I have so much to share about the Bad Books show the other night. I'm working on a review right now, but some of it isn't blog appropriate I think - so maybe I'll make a facebook note with extra tidbits or something (nothing THAT exciting, but some pretty cool stuff, I had long convos with both Andy and Kevin)....but man wow! Are you going to be reviewing the show you went to and their album? I'd love to read it.

I am there's few other types of music I listen to. It just all seems too. Mewithoutyou is one of those bands though actually. So do you have a radio show? It seems like it from your picture

Yeah I bet those are tough decisions to make! I couldn't get the good pre-order bundle. I didn't have a chance at it because Thursday evenings are really packed for me, I have to work at my school's climbing wall from 4-6, and then I have back to back guitar and drum lessons until 8, so there's really no window for me to check anything online. You're so lucky! Another friend of mine got the book order too. I'm hoping they get more t-shirt sizes, because they're pretty much out of girls sizes. I just have to not worry about it too much because otherwise I'll be super stressed. Someone really nice offered to send me their poster though, which will be cool because I was looking for a way to just buy an extra one, so I could put up both sides.

I never got around to listening to As Tall As Lions that much, but I always heard good things. I'm sorry about the break-up. I know it can be really heartbreaking when bands break up. It's so great you're getting to see them one last time. You should definitely get a ticket to the KevDev show! It sounds like it's going to be really exciting, the way they're doing the setlist, and it's his hometown and the same night that BB officially comes out, at least online/preorders.

I convinced a friend of mine to roadtrip from Northampton to Kevin's headlining show in Brooklyn. So maybe I'll see you there?!

It was from the page about the upcoming Sea Wolf concert. I tend to add people pretty randomly, hah. Yeah, I am from New York, in Queens.

It was great! I loved the cover and all the other songs. I'll work on splitting up the tracks soon and send them over when I do! I'm feeling re-inspired to become a taper (I've gone through bouts of wanting to do this and never have) and I'm thinking of going through with it and just getting some cheap-ish equipment so I can tape the shows I go to.

Hey, I'm listening to the interview right now! I might split it up into individual tracks. Have you done that already - or would you be interested in me sending you those?

Oh my gosh, I love that song, I fell in love with it the first moment I played that album. I'm a huge sucker for good songs that talk about religion that aren't you know, like, evangelical rock or whatever. I would totally love to hear it. If you ever *do* find yourself in Massachusetts, feel free to let me know. I live right in the center of Northampton during school-times (and in Worcester otherwise) and would definitely be up for showing you around, or getting you free meals or whatever.

That's so great! Yes I love David Bazan! What song did he cover? I love your site too. I'm excited to spend more time reading through some of the archives. I wish I could get out to more shows in NYC and such, but it'll have to wait until I'm done with school probably. But I made it out to the Thrice/KD show in New York in June, and there was just something special about it, seeing an artist perform in his hometown.

I've met him a few times. I just (within the past few months) got over being too shy to go over and say hello, so I talked to him a bit at the 3 shows I went to this summer. I'm hoping to chat at his Bad Books show in Boston and give him one of my tshirts, haha. I'm a really big fan - his music just hits me in a way that no one else's has, you know? What about you, have you met Kevin?

rad! i'll be there for sure also. i'm taking the train into penn and should arrive at about 1132. i'll be going straight to the fest from there. the only thing that sucks is that i have to leave directly after JEFF's set for a peak, rush hour train back to LI so i don't miss my dad's birthday party. so lame. but anyways, message me yer number and i'll message you mine. i'm sure we can find each other there

For sure. I was going to tell you who I though was the best and then I realized that I was writing every name haha. Ian has the closest style to Gibson and Jen is just a phenomenal writer.

Do you still need Andrea Gibson? I have a couple of CDs but I can only find Swarm right now. And if you haven't seen her live and you ever get a chance, do it.
