They altered the taste-o-meter a while ago and made it too easy to get super rating with more people than ever. :( But to be fair, I do listen to a fair amount of stuff that's on your charts and funny enough, some of your top artists I'm not into right now are somewhere on my to listen to list.

I'll need to buy more Opeth CDs not just to try and find a better Opeth album than Blackwater Park, but I wonder what all their other stuff is like. :)

Ah, Blackwater Park. Heh, I didn't get into that album, because of the death metal vocals, but about 6 listens to the album, I got into it. :)

I'll see about getting their album once I have all Helloween and Blind Guardian studio albums.

I've listened to some songs on TSHF and I find them very good. I found out you bought those CDs from the post you made in the CPO. :) Have fun listening to them (Keepers 2 is awesome, ACOS is great, but I still need to listen to it more to get myself to find it amazing).

Yeah, I'd say that as well, but it wasn't such a big risk like Risk was. Maybe TWNAH was a risk as well since I've heard some negative comments about it.

Actually, I'm going to forget TWNAH for a while since United Abominations has been delayed to May.

That's nice. Just about 11 plays ahead of me, lol. I do plan to get The World Needs A Hero quite soon. :P

You could potentially enjoy all their songs really. Some are quite heavy, but they don't have continual death metal vocals and they're not the standard low grunt either - more of a prolonged roar. And there are loads of acoustic interludes everywhere. If you liked The Drapery Falls, their other heavy numbers aren't exceedingly heavy compared.

You ain't gonna get much rocking out on Damnation, actually, but every other album has death vocals. There are a couple of songs without them, like To Bid You Farewell, Benighted, Harvest, The Moor, Face of Melinda, that you might want to listen to to get a better idea of the Opeth thing.
