Cheers - I have to admit I dont listen to them as much as I used to, should get round to playing some of the albums a little more regularly. You have a fair few nice bands yourself.

Exactly, haha. Dave is one of my favorite singers and the blokes from Zep are the best! Putting the two together could breed great results.

I don't consider it a crime, no. There's a particular folk musician that I've been turned onto called Bert Jansch. He's a much better musician in my opinion than Bob Dylan, but Dylan does have that amazing songwriting ability. See, what I actually wanted to happen in regards to collaborations was have the remaining members of Led Zeppelin be with Dave. His voice obviously isn't anything like Robert's, but could you imagine what those guys could come up with?

hahaha, well that'd certainly be worth it then, right? i'd consider risking my clean police record for that.

but i'm sure there's a lot going on in the music scene there today, right? plus, you could meet all of the famous musicians and things. not too many famous musicians live in pennsylvania i don't think -_-. i plan on living in wales when i get older anyway. i haven't visited either there or england yet, though. you're certainly right about david being a more lyrical player, but for some reason that no quarter solo takes me to another world. hrm.

haha, that's better than i ever could have described it. i think that's one of my favorite songs...ever. it's just incredible. to me, there are two solos that are the pinnacle of live solos, fat old sun and no quarter from the song remains the same. i can't decide which i like better. and thanks very much, sir. you've got a great list as well. lucky you're in the country where it all started.

Yeah, though I saw the band a few times while they were still around (the semi-reformation I've heard about recently doesn't count). Superb stuff.
