Kevin Michael “Toby” McKeehan was born October 22, 1964 in Fairfax, Virginia. He is professionally known as Toby Mac, is a Grammy Award winning artist, producer, and a songwriter. A christian trio , dc Talk, was his first music group. He stayed with them from 1989 until 2000. He has had a successful solo career with the release of three studio albums. Momentum was in 2001 , Welcome to Diverse City was in 2004, Portable Sounds was in 2007,and City On Our Knees - Single in 2009 ,as well as two remixed versions of his first two albums, titled Re:Mix Momentum and Renovating Diverse City. “Made to Love,” and, “Lose My Soul,” are just two of his six #1 hit singles. Alive and Transported, are on his live concert CD+DVD combo album which was released in 2008 and received the Grammy Award for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album at the 51st Grammy Awards in 2009.
