There are at least eight bands/acts called Rebel.
1. Rebel was a 1990s 'sleaze glam' punk rock band from Los Angeles, CA, United States. They dominated the Sunset Strip for a while, gracing the cover of Rock City News, sharing the stage with great bands like Alleycat Scratch and Ana Black as well as packing shows at Gazzarri's, The Troubadour and the world famous Whisky A Go Go. Album: 'Los Angeles' (2013). Personnel: Dave Rebel (vocals), C.J. Rebel (guitar), Dat Ngo (bass), Mark Buchwald (drums).
2. Rebel is a Spanish MC from Zaragoza.
3. Rebel is a hard rock band featuring John Lawton (ex-Uriah Heep). The band produced the only album 'Stargazer' in 1983. Line-up: John Lawton (vocals), Tommy Clauss (guitars), Albert Stubler (keyboards), Peter Weber (bass), Peter Garratoni (drums).
4. Rebel is a New York, United States-based baroque ensemble, directed by Jörg-Michael Schwarz and Karen Marie Marmer.
5. Rebel was a 1990s blues-based rock band based in Latvia. Core members were the once married couple Lolita Novikova (vocals) and Igors Novikovs (guitar, vocals).
6. Rebel was a 1980s hardcore punk band from Japan. They were featured on the compilation 'Killed By Hardcore Vol. 3'.
7. Rebel is a power metal band from Hungary, formed in 2012 and led by Szaládi 'Devil' Károly (ex-Crossholder).
8. Rebel was a short-lived Dutch power pop band, fronted by guitarist, singer and songwriter, Peter Welgemoed. Effectively a continuation of Hilversum-based predecessor, Rotjoch, Rebel released just one single: 'Baby, Baby, Baby (Don't You Listen To That Guy)' b/w 'No Use Crying' (1982). Although officially called Rebel the band was known to many as Rebel featuring Waldo.
