Chippenham, Wiltshire, United Kingdom (2005 – present)

Originally formed as a two-piece project in 2005, goreshit drastically changed their sound shortly after coming into existence and began creating what has become known as ‘’, releasing their debut EP “わたしわばかやろです” (incidentally the only goreshit release featuring both band members) in 2006.

Since then (and as a one man project) goreshit has expanded into producing music in various styles including (but not limited to) more ‘traditional’ , , , , , , as well as further refining his lolicore sound.

goreshit’s tracks have appeared on several compilations and he has put out a number of full length albums and splits for free (mostly self-released but occasionally on netlabels such as Dance Corps). He has recently started performing live shows, the first of which was in Edinburgh, Scotland at the second INST/DEL breakcore party. (Footage from the show can be found here.)

He also has an ambient project called hana sumai and a black metal one, called Wounder.

it's ALMOST like lolicore listeners aren't forced to listen to no effort stuff by definition... but anyways small reminder that o'er the flood (not lolicore) and lolil0_0pz (bad compared to his other lolicore stuff) is amongst the most listened tracks so kinda nope

goreshit IS lolicore done right. That's why he's the most listened to lolicore artist, because he puts effort into what he does.

His "brighter" stuff is what made the older releases awesome as well! It's catchy and it's fun stuff to listen to which is why I loved them! :D I never said his original releases was worse than the stuff he samples, I just think it's not as catchy. What I was trying to say was I think his "darker" releases give more of a thinking man vibe than a fun dancy vibe. I'd definitely do my homework and rejuvenate to his darker releases though. 8) I know I said his newer releases weren't so goreshit, but that's how my idea of goreshit stuck to me because of the older releases. That's just my opinion too.

That's what made goreshit's older releases unique from the rest of the other Lolicore projects I heard "goreshit's work is actually extremely well crafted and impressive, his vocal chopping skills are mindblowing". His older releases were more than just stealing anime OPs and adding gabba kicks to it. I actually thought that this was lolicore done right during my first listening experience with goreshit (dancefloor degrader) because it's not just kicks and phasers over an anime OP from the other artists I heard (ain't name dropping.)

and that is 100% strictly my opinion, please don't mistake anything on this site for anything more than pure subjective bullshit from a user on an online music forum

not stuck on saying anything is superior, if you would read a little more closely I didn't strictly mention his lolicore nor did I assert it was better. only that it had its own charm and it's something I think he should still be proud of (not many other lolicore artists have done that sound better than him since he does a lot more than "stealing an anime OP and layering a gabba kick with breaks over it", even if it is still just hyperactive weaboo breakcore). when I say "brighter" I'm also talking about stuff like blue girl on sunday, gnb, the nrr series and the like alongside all the other more popular stuff like tomboyish love and mlfaw

I got the impression that lolicore was just really obnoxious and awful speedcore - but goreshit's work is actually extremely well crafted and impressive, his vocal chopping skills are mindblowing. I guess I was just listening to the wrong lolicore artists.
