Biography
Fyaopo was a progressive, experimental electronica artist residing in Melbourne, Australia. Fyaopo's influences ranged from soundtrack work, electronica, progressive rock and metal, classical music, pop, indie rock to blues rock.
Fyaopo's originated from the realm of video game music and indie media composition, but has strayed far enough into the depths of complex electronic works to implement new musical ideas. Fyaopo's style was generally heavily harmonic and abstract but was also influenced by contemporary styles including progressive rock and modern rock. Much of his work was considered "organic", combining symphonic ideas with a contemporary electronic repertoire and experimental electronic technique.
His debut album, The Waves, was released on 30th October 2013. He previously has published many individual works for several game albums he has collaborated on with game developers. As of 14th September 2014, he has migrated all of his more serious work to the artist name Counting Hours.
