Diva Destruction formed in 1998 in Hollywood, California. The band currently consists of founder, singer-songwriter, keyboardist, drum programmer, recording engineer, and producer Debra Fogarty, original drummer Jimmy Cleveland, and guitarist Daniel "Danielectics" Munoz. Previous members include Benn Ra and Severina Sol.
Diva Destruction toured actively from 2001 to 2004, releasing two studio albums in 1999 and 2006. In 2020, Diva Destruction resurfaced through the creation of an Instagram account, released their first single in 2023, and, with Fogartry motivated by fan interactions on her YouTube uploads of Diva Destruction's past live performances, the band returned with a fleshed-out lineup for live performances in early April of 2024.
