As featured on BBC6music, Brighton, UK-based songwriter, multi-instrimentalist and producer christopher rye (www.christopherrye.com) writes dark, cinematic pop songs for outsiders and nightwalkers. He is prime mover of the kinetic music genre, where familiar structures are populated by revolving rhythms and treated riffs, inspired by kinetic art and mobile sculptures. Many of his songs feature contributions from singers such as Emily Swift Jones, Martha Evatt (Martha Joy), cult dance diva Lisa Abbott, Julia F, Charley Thearoux and Jill Draper (Basement Jaxx).
