Biography
Zhemaitis (Aras Žemaitis) was born in Lithuania, 1987. His interest in music started from his early childhood and after a while he started attending musical school and finished it in remarkable grades. After finishing gymnasium in a calm city of Kretinga, he pursued his flair for music and pursued his dream by studying in Kaunas University of Technologies in music technologies field. 2007 was a start to Zhemaitis fast rising carrier when he was noticed by US record label “Lectro Chik Records”. His debut EP was noticed by the likes of “The Flash Brothers” or “Jorge Jaramillo” and got a lot of great feedbacks and support. As well as a solo artist Zhemaitis is also involved in a project called “Lucid Dream”. Together with his fellow producer David Myo they embody slightly different musical ideas. A project that originates from the western side of Lithuania is known for its empowering and uplifting rhythm of somewhere in between of progressive and minimal with assertive tech-house spices. Zhemaitis was also noticed by a Lithuania's music label and event promotion company “Pro-duce”. Already featuring his first release he’s now a proud member of Lithuania's most fastly growing electronic music artist team. Later he also joined “Mixteam”. His music is something in between of deep/progressive and groovy electro house. You can find Zhemaitis tracks on all major online music distributors.
