Ever since his great breakthrough in 1984 the theaters in The Netherlands and Belgium have been entirely sold out for all of his performances. He is known for his offensive and sceptical style. Youp usually puts three or four songs in his shows. His most famous song is "Flappie," about a young boy whose rabbit is served for Christmas.
