Mateo Palacios Corazzina, better known as Trueno, is an Argentine rapper and freestyler, originally from the La Boca neighborhood in Buenos Aires. He is known for his outstanding participation in rap battles, winning contests such as FMS Argentina and Red Bull Batalla De Los Gallos in 2019.
His debut album, Atrevido was released on July 23, 2020 through NEUEN and distributed by Sony Music Latin. The album features the collaborations of artists such as Alemán, Wos, Nicki Nicole and Bizarrap. It was certified 4x Platinum by the Argentine Chamber of Phonograms and Videograms Producers (CAPIF) and reached the Top 5 on Spain’s Top 100 Albums Chart based on streaming, download and physical sales. The album spawned the single “Mamichula” which would reach #1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 and Spain’s Top 100 songs chart. Also reached #33 on Spotify’s Top 200 Daily Top Songs Global and #100 on the Billboard Global 200 chart. In 2022, he released his Latin American influenced album BIEN O MAL.
