Trains and Boats and Planes was a danish band that existed from 1989 - 1994, fronted by
Nikolaj Nørlund (born 14th June 1965) - danish vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and later also known as a producer and record label owner (Auditorium). Trains and boats and Planes released 3 albums (the debut a mini-LP) on the independent Copenhagen label Cloudland, that also released the first three albums by
18th Dye among others. The band was produced by
Kramer and were initially compared to
The Go-Betweens and
Galaxie 500 in the press (see
