Biography

Timber Jerry, best described as a "college rock" band with influences ranging from The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson to Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Barenaked Ladies. More information is available on their web site at TimberJerry.com.

Their 2003 sophomore full length release, Audio Cinema, showcases their "Superfun Jumprock" sound, driven by percussive rhythm guitar work and strong vocal harmonies. Other esteemed Boston musicians appear on the recording, including their producer and 30+ year music veteran Stu Covington. Tom Bianchi fills in on bass and Adam Schertzer adds his smooth saxophone to complete a full, satisfying listening experience.

During their brief performance career (2000 - 2002), Timber Jerry played esteemed Boston clubs such as Harper's Ferry, Great Scott, Kendall Cafe, and The Middle East (Corner), and several other New England venues. They may be best known for their rare cover versions of 80's hits like "Bust A Move" and "Sexual Healing." Also to be noted (and available for download on this site) is their 80's parody of the Bryan Adams classic "Summer of 69."

Other venues on Timber Jerry's resume include the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, Mount Wachusett opening for jamband giant Entrain, and Massachusetts colleges Westfield State and Becker College.
