Biography
The Take Over are a 4 piece Hardcore/Rock band from Southend on Sea, Essex.
Members are:

Matt Marlow (Drums)
Iain Archer (Bass)
Daniel Manning (Guitars)
This Southend quartet have exploded onto the scene bringing their own brand of dirty rock/metal/hardcore though original in the own right they draw influences from bands such as Motley Crue, Poison the Well, The Bronx, Underoath, Every Time I Die, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, He is Legend, Norma Jean, Gallows, Dead Swans and many more.
The Take Over formed in early June of 2008 when a proposition for a band was made in a pub in Southend on sea, Essex by now guitarist Daniel Manning, to singer Ben Mills. After they discussed it for a matter of moments Drummer Matt Marlow and Bassist Iain Archer, were approached to go for a jam session that weekend.
Having only been a fully united band for all of three months this Essex quartet managed to write 6 songs and play there first show within the first month and have already passed targets that take some bands three times as long. Since their first show at the end of June 2008 have been playing weekly shows all over the country ever since, including supporting band’s like Bury Tomorrow and Malefice. After only six weeks they went into the studio to record there demo, a six track blast of passion, aggression and a brilliant balance of rock and roll style melodies and hardcore influenced breakdowns. Now the band are looking to take things to the next level with tours, management and labels.
They have recently recorded there Debut EP (Sleep, Drink, Sleep) set to be released on 20th October 2008…
The EP was released to critical aclaim making it into the pages of Rock Sound, Kerrang, Front, and many more.
