Biography
The Lizard Kings formed in early 2005. The band has, in it's lifetime played a number of prestigous venues. They recorded their first 12 track album, "Never drink bulls milk", throughout 2006. In 2008 the band took part in the Surface Unsigned music festival, reaching the regional semi-finals and receiving good reviews through the whole contest. They are currently playing venues and writing new material for their second album, of which the first stage of recording is due to begin in June. Venues played include, Roadmender, Barfly Camden, Barfly B'mingham, Dublin Castle, Dirty South, Soundhaus and many others. The bands current line-up is Dave Reilly - Lead guitar and vocals, Steve Allder - Rythmn guitar and vocals, Andy Cowie - 2nd Rythmn guitar and vocals, Lee Freer - Bass, and Aaron Wooton - Drums. The band has undergone a few line-up changes over the years. Influences from the members range from Pink Floyd to Depeche mode to Metallica. Their sound is Indie rock
