Biography
Dolly's story began for joke after the release of my first solo album called Frank & The Pegasus in October 2007: I wanted to record a LP since the day I began to learn how to play guitar!
After a few months I felt in love with a very very great album called The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan and I tried to play live the songs by my record in that way: acoustic guitar, vocals and harmonica! I even played some Bob Dylan's, Bruce Springsteen's and John Fogerty's song! I even decided to try playin' Folk because I still haven't found a band after The Pegasus: this project ended after the recordings of the album.
I found a lot of dates for my new project and, even if I was at the beginning, shows goes well! So I wrote about twelve new songs: nine of these are included in the new really Folk album called THE DOLLY'S LEGEND. It's a Folk album expecially for the lyrics: the songs talk about what goes wrong in my own Country… Too much things nowadays!
I decided to give the project a name because my guitar Dolly is the main character in this "band"! Dolly was a Christmas present by my sister in 2003!
You can buy THE DOLLY'S LEGEND's album, released the 18 April 2008, at the online store Incidi! and IndieRhythm! From September I would like to play many dates far from Bologna! I even would like to show the new songs I'm writing!
By the way… Thanks a lot to everyone who helped me, who came to my shows, who listened to my songs and, at last but not least, thank YOU, boy or girl, for reading this biography!
