Biography

A band that flew well under the radar during the early 90’s. Just as UK Indie was defining itself and music moguls were clambering over themselves to sign up and cash in on once ‘word of mouth’ scenes such as Madchester no one turned an eye to the continent.There was no internet then. No Myspace. Dark days indeed.

So then perhaps it was no surprise that a german old-school-pop three-piece - founded in Munich (München) Bavaria in the autumn of ´91 went completely un-noticed in the UK. Named after the well known short story Bartleby the scrivener by Herman Melville author of the famous book Moby Dick.
