Taiji Sawada (12.7.1966 - 17.7.2011) was mostly known as the bassist of X Japan. After Yoshiki told him to quit, his life took a downward run, as he says in his book. He tried to commit suicide but wasn't able to do it in the end. He was one of the best friends of hide and actually made him a song after he had died Dear friend. At hide's funeral Taiji met the other members of X for the first time after 1992.
