Tahir Mithu has been playing music since he was a child growing up in Kotri, Sind. “Even during half time I would sit in class and play beats on the tables when there was less noise and I could hear myself better regardless of whether anyone else could hear me or not.” His love for music began with a love for the dholak, but with no one to sing for him, the young Mithu started to sing and play himself.
