SVT was a San Francisco based rock group, originally known as The Jack Casady Band. SVT was formed in 1978 and featured Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, Bill Gibson of Soundhole and Huey Lewis & the News, Brian Marnell (Soundhole), and Nick Buck (Hot Tuna). They quickly became a favorite among residents in the Bay Area, and their single "Heart of Stone" became a popular track on local FM stations.
