Her solo stuff sounds incredible to me. I think as far as music goes she's underrated.

In 1986, Prince invited the little-known Bangles to record his song, "Manic Monday." It propelled the LA band to stardom, but it was only a stepping stone for guitarist, Susanna Hoffs, who, two years later, would write The Bangles' most enduring song, "Eternal Flame." Hoffs takes Songfacts behind the scenes of what was, in effect, The Bangles' epitaph - from writing the lyrics with Billy Steinberg, to recording them...in the nude! - http://www.songfacts.com/blog/playingmysong/susanna_hoffs_-_eternal_flame_/

Someday is ok, it is worth the listen and better than her debut album, but still nowhere as good as her amazing self-titled

Agreed -- Susanna's solo stuff has mostly left me cold over the years, but the new album is a pleasure to listen to.
