Superaquello's music resonates with shades of traditional Puerto Rican sounds and electronic music.
Formed in 1997, they are the most recent musical incarnation of the composers Eduardo Alegría and Francis Perez. Between them, they have more than twenty years of collaboration during which time they produced several other projects like ALPACA, Mataril the Bótico, Infamia All-Stars and Mup Siqui Ta. Superaquello is completed by Patricia Davila (voice), Pablo Santiago (keyboards, programming) and Jorge I castrate (guitar).
They have five albums out now: "Mu Psiqui Ta", made in 2002 by Luar Music, "besides Gorgeous" (2003), "The Emergencia" (2004) was put out independently by the band and "Superaquello one interprets Latarde" in 2009. In 2005, they were the first Puerto Rican band to make a film score. They made the music for "Thieves and Lying" publishing it on CD. Something never before done on the island.

Su música resuena con matices del pop tradicional, la música electronica, la experimentación sonora y la música típica puertorriqueña. Superaquello es una de las bandas con mayor trayectoria en la escena musical de Puerto Rico.
Formada en 1997, Superaquello es la más reciente encarnación musical de los compositores Eduardo Alegría y Francis Pérez, quienes poseen más de veinte años de colaboración y en los que han producido varios otros proyectos como ALPACA, Mataril El Bótico, Infamia All-Stars y Mup Siqui Ta. Superaquello es completado por Patricia Dávila (voz), Pablo Santiago (teclados, programación) y Jorge Castro (guitarra, bajo).
Su discografía ya posée cuatro títulos: Mu Psiqui Ta, lanzado en 2002 por Luar Music, además de Bien Gorgeous (2003) y La Emergencia (2004) fueron lanzados independientemente por la banda. En 2005, se convierten en la primera banda de rock puertorriqueña en crear el score musical para una película (Ladrones y Mentirosos) y editarla en CD. Algo nunca antes hecho en la isla. En 2009 se preparan para lanzar su quinto álbum: Superaquello interpreta Latarde.
Han compartido escenario con grandes como Café Tacvba, Ely Guerra y Juana Molina. Se han presentado en festivales como FOCO en Chicago y el LAMC (Latin Alternative Music Conference) en New York. Entre sus influencias mencionan a Kate Bush, Brian Eno, Kraftwerk, Stereolab, Talking Heads, Rafael Cortijo, El Trio Matamoros, Stereolab y The Cocteau Twins.
