Sunday waits is a family affair, with twin sisters Emily and Holly, and Dylan (married to Holly) fronting the band. The trio write songs that are honest, vulnerable and infectious, with soaring melodies weaved over delicate harmonies.
Each Sunday Waits tune carries a sincerity often lost in today’s songwriters. With a passion for creating intelligent, inspired pop, Sunday Waits deliver songs of hope and heartache, leaving you with something long after the final note.
Sunday Waits have just finished recording their debut; self titled EP and are planning a stellar 2009-10 to spread the love around the nation.
Recorded at The Grove Studios (Silverchair’s DIORAMA and Eskimo Joe’s BLACK FINGERNAILS RED WINE) on the NSW central coast, Sunday Waits debut EP is an eclectic mix of indie pop and melodic rock. With radio ready tunes such as “As I Did”, “The Other Side” and “Home” al featuring, Sunday Waits are a band quickly building a reputation as one of the up and coming artists on the Australian Music Scene.
