  • I only recently discovered this group, and I am continually impressed. Their song "Eulogy" off of Faster Than You Know is chilling. Hell, I could go on and on about how I love their music and find inspiration in their writing, but suffice it to say that I am sad that they stopped making music, and would love to meet them some day, yet I know that won't happen. Their secretive nature is also frustrating, I would love to know if anyone else from the group kept making music. I know Ming-Xia has, but I haven't heard of the rest.

Spooks are a groundbreaking hip-hop group whose first album was one of the very best at the end of the '90s. I have never heard your sweet garage band from ATL; they may be absolutely awesome, but might suck, but at least I am not discounting them solely because they are linked by name to a band I already like and listen to.
  • why aren't they still making music ?
  • suprisingly spooks album even though was commercial sucess here in UK, actually a pretty good offering.
  • Great r'n'b of its day lucky to be in New York when their album was released - will never hear enough of it - especially Things I've Seen and Karma Hotel! Worth a listen
  • I wish Last.fm would link this to the sweet garage band from ATL. Not this R & B band I've never listened to in my life.
  • I rember when 1st heard them. they were fresh. Karma hotel great video. One of my favourite bands when they first landed
  • I'm no R&B fan but I love these guys.
  • wow, you really named your band this.
  • Ming-Xia has some great music, solo stuff on her website....Absolutely amazing vocals!!! Check it out, http://www.MingMusik.com
