Sol Virani is a rapper, lyricist and emcee from New Orleans, Louisiana. His music is direct, witty and energetic, with a vibrant lyrical flow that reminds listeners of the greats in the genre, including LL Cool J, Nas, Method Man, and even his relevant peers in hip hop such as Kendrick Lamar, Mick jenkins, and J Cole… just to name a few.
Born in 1991, Sol eventually fell in love with music and wrote his first song at the age of 16, just for kicks. It did not take long for him to realize that making music was a true calling for him: this talented artist set out to pursue his journey through music, aiming to climb right at the top of the rap scene and inspire people all over the world with his positive attitude and lyrics.
Sol’s songs boast his unique lyrical mastery, as well as his ability to use the beat as a blank canvas, manifesting his artistry through cadence and wordplay. This skilled wordsmith and performer has a smooth and consistent flow, which sits perfectly well within the mix.
His recent release, “No Pork In My Gumbo”, is currently available on several music platforms
and features collaborations with well known artists such as Jadakiss, Method Man and Cozz from Dreamville Records. With the success of “No Pork In My Gumbo” Sol wasted no time releasing his latest effort “One”, 4 months later. This project is informative, thought provoking, and displays his lyrical capabilities once again. It primarily consist of tunes offering his personal stance on “right from wrong” such as “One Choice” “One Fight” “ONE God” and more.
