Biography
Scant Squad were formed back in 1998, the founding members being DJ Foz and Dj Spin.
Starting off with 2 decks, a 2 channel mixer and 3 microphones, scant squad would meet up every sunday night, in the attic room for a drink and a carry on.
In 2009 they are all about business, producing beat after beat for the underground scottish hip hop scene, they are a name to be watched for after producing beats for such artists as Werd (S.O.S), Wardie Burns, Nity Gritz, Chad the Lad, Donnie C, I.V.O.R.Y, Spit Dis, KD, The Riddlah and Spee 69/YMW between 2007 and 2009.
With more new artist collaborations already underway, Scant Squad should be releasing their second volume of collaborative work by early 2010.
