Psychedelia that promises non-stop dancing. Luxurious riffs that slip between the hiatus. Acid surrealism. Three voices that intertwine with nerve. Sensuality. Hedonism. And live performances that are magnetic and wild like so few other. This is the presentation of Sanjays and their new album, “Laboratorium”.
“Laboratorium” opens the doors to a dreamy and magic world, a world with catchy melodies that at the same time are dark and bright. An uncontrolled party, but no one knows how they’ll end. So is this a lab or a mental institution? Whatever it is, the intention is to carry you away by the mystery, to go crazy and have a good time. And dance.
In a live performance of Sanjays, the spontaneity of B-52′s lives with the psychedelia of Flaming Lips; and the party of MGMT catapults The Pixies’s energy or the intensity of Pavement.
This magical formula is completed thanks to the triple vocal play of Oscar Martorell, Adrià Cortadellas and the Belgian Demmy Josey Sober. Melodies, schizophrenic experiments, light flashes and indie attitude.
