Ruth Berhe (born July 2, 1995), better known by her stage name Ruth B., is a Canadian singer and songwriter hailing from Edmonton, Alberta. She began her musical career in 2013 by posting cover songs on Vine. In November 2015, she released her debut extended play The Intro.
Her growing popularity was solidified in 2017 with the release of her debut album Safe Haven. As of December 2022, the album has received over 1.8 billion streams on Spotify. Her single "Lost Boy" from the album has been streamed over 728 million times on the platform. Her YouTube channel has acquired over 526 million views.
In 2022, Ruth B. achieved international success with the sleeper hit "Dandelions" from Safe Haven. The song was popularized through its use in TikTok videos, and has since then been streamed over 773 million times on Spotify.
