“Intro” is the opening track to Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial. On the track, Roddy Ricch describes his street lifestyle and also discusses his lavish lifestyle. This track shows the “other side” of him. On Roddy’s chorus on the now-late Nipsey Hussle’s February 2019 track, “Racks in the Middle,” he touches up on the same concept, while going in depth about his evolution and change.

In an interview with Apple Music, Roddy said:
"I feel like ‘Intro’ came when I realized that I wasn’t a normal human being. I was seeing another side of having a little bread and traveling a little bit and just trying to motivate the people behind you that you got to lead into another type of promised land. You just reflect on all that and it bleeds into the music. You just talk that shit."
