Biography
ReKreation are the DJ /Production duo comprising of JAMES HILL & BEN MORLING.
This collaboration of upcoming musical talent produce a unique blend of Deep, Tech and straight up house music.
During the last year they have worked on various projects which has seen them progress as artists as well as DJs. These have included, two remixes with the latest being their take on the massive 'Neurotronik' by Marc Henry -released on Quadraphonic records. They recorded and released their debut four track E.P, which came out with Deep8 records early 2010 and caught on to see some great support, even airplay on Proton radio (Miami), not to mention one of the tracks being sub licensed and signed to the 'Total House Compilation' Album.
'Dynamic Symptoms' - a single release on the highly rated City Rockers Compilation Album with Manchester Underground Music (MUM) did really well seeing some chart success mid 2010, and they are currently awaiting the full release of their second E.P 'Tecleo' which was signed by Vertikal Records' - a sublabel of the worldly reknowned Plusquam records (GR) and will be available August 2010.
Aswell as producing, RK also perform live and currently hold a residency for an event they co-founded - 'Applique' - along with Lempo&Carr (Novitech recordings/ ManchesterGlobalRadio)
The event currently takes place once a month at recently voted #1 Club in the world - SANKEYS | MANCHESTER and it's sister club SPEKTRUM.
