Biography

In 1974, the soul-pop vocal group Trio Ternura, consisting of Jussara, Jurema and Robson, became a quintet with the addition of members Léo and Zé Roberto as part of the group.

With the trio's growing influence of the 70s soul music, as they had just participated on stage in Toni Tornado's soul anthem "BR-3" (winner of the 1970 brazilian international music festival) and released in 1971 their only album, heavily influenced by psychedelic soul, their 1974 record, as Quinteto Ternura, is filled with astonishing soul compositions as well as arrangements by Arthur Verocai and special guests Burnier & Cartier, and a team of top notch brazilian musicians.
