“Flex” serves as the thirteenth track to Playboi Carti’s eponymous debut mixtape, Playboi Carti. Recorded at Downtown Music Studios, Soho, New York, and produced by J. Cash and Juiceee, Carti uses this track to display his lavish lifestyle—the track’s title also implies this, as the term “flex” is an urban adjective used to describe showing off.
Additionally, the track features California-based producer-turned-rapper Leven Kali, which marks the first collaboration between the two artists.
