Nice album. It could be better (having Chino and Isis on it) but well, it's just their first album.

"I think a debut album for a brand new project should be approached with no expectations in terms of style and with fresh ears." this!

While after my first listen I wasn't quite impressed yet, and did literally fall asleep, I plan to give it a few more chances; but all you Isis fans expecting an Isis replica or continuation of Isis simply because ex members are making music is a little silly. I think a debut album for a brand new project should be approached with no expectations in terms of style and with fresh ears.

Sounds like ISIS guys send some ISIS outtakes to Chino and he recorded his voice over em. Meh.

froody1911 I totally agree. His approach works on some tracks but, it seems like he needed to use his range a bit more. The vocals are just too sleepy overall. I am disappoint. Maybe it'll grow on me a bit.

It's great but sometimes it feels like Chino's fragile vocals (which I otherwise like) don't work so well here. A more confident voice might have been better suited.
