They formed Motherlode in 1969 and relocated to Ontario where they struggled and stayed with friends. They finally got a break following their debut at the Image Club when Mort Ross signed them to Revolver Records that same year.

there's a Motherloade Trio and a Motherlode, the Motherlode performed 'When I Die'. that's what I've deducted.

Just guessing from the tracks played, I'm going to guess there's at least THREE Motherlodes... The tracks I play are from the Kansas City band from the 90's.
