Idiots-Rule
During my drumming career I once tried my luck auditioning as a vocalist, just for fun and to give myself the challenge. Some Gothenburg band with a real shitty drummer invited me for tryouts. I asked them what songs we were doing. "Do you know 'Die, Die My Darling'...?" Being a huge Danzig fan, I was going like "hell yeah!" inside my mind. Not that I can sing like Glenn, but I was definitely gonna give it my best shot. "You know, the Metallica song." I didn't even know they'd done a cover of it, I didn't listen to Garage Inc. They wanted me to sing it like '90s James Hetfield with his hick "yeaa-uh" and all. Safe to say, we fell out on the spot. To top it all off, they shamelessly asked me to take reigns of the drums for a few covers - before their own drummer. I could tell they were interested in my drumming potential, more so than my voice. Poor drummer lad was visibly uncomfortable, I felt really bad for him. I politely declined, packed up and left. That was quite an experience.

I like spicy memes as much as the next guy, but this song deserves more love in its shoutbox than just chainposting tomatobaby. In a surprisingly long line of Danzig-era 'love songs', this one is my head and shoulders favourite to listen to, play, sing and stare at the cover art for.
