Biography
MIGFER is a Melodic Death Metal Band Formed In Istanbul. Migfer is formed when Murat(vocal) shared the idea of forming a band with Erdin(drummer)(October 2006). After a short period of searching lead guitarist, Mehmet(lead guitarist) joined the band. After the designation of members, the band began started the studio actions.
At the first times, Melodic Death Metal was chosen as genre and the compositions were made at that direction.
"Band's purposed style was a combination of turkish folk melodies and Melodic death metal in an unusual way. The main aim was to emphasize the turkish folk melodies and make people feel the difference perfectly."
After the aimed style achieved, the band started to compose songs. After a while, bass guitarist(Altug) joined the band as needed.
The members have reached the harmony after a short time. Then the band began to search for a second guitarist. Many guitarist joined the band but never succeeded. After a long period of searching, Alperen(rythm guitarist) joined the band.
After the achievement of required performance the band began to record and arrange demo songs.After some record attempts demo named Yarinsiz released.
