1) “[makina]” (producer) ;
“[MKN]” ; Also known as “[makina]” is a resplendent Audio Engineer who has transcended Music Genres to create an international ‘[mkn]’ effect.
While punishing the dance-floors all over the World with his heavy breaks and massive beats; Revengeful, yet unforgiving Ethnic-heritage, machine is the power behind the sets of thousands of Audio Engineers from Japan to Alaska. Mastermind of creating the scene rather than following it, our madman has adapted some filthy hybrid of sounds created from cuts and breaks made of the heart-warming Sitars to the cold punches of the Saws.
Aside from the current situation, “[makina]” has been formed in the year 2001 when two cousins striven from messing around on a simple program handed down from pros. Year after year, Venue after Venue, our harsh friend has evolved into a far more complex man than what he had ever hoped for. And recently, with a little help of his wife, he seems to have it just right.
2)(band)Trash Metal band formed in Mexico City in 1990 after a death/trash project called Makina Negra. In 1991, with former lineup: Paul Rivers (vocals/guitar), Gizmo Reza (drums), Hans Mues (guitar) and Carlos De la Peña (bass), Makina produced their first album Dilemma (Lejos del Paraíso) which was distributed only in Mexico and the south of USA. After the departure of two of their former band members (Rivers, Mues), Makina returned in 1994 with a second album called “Anabiosis” (Discos Rockotitlán / Sony Music) which gave them more audience in the USA and Europe thanks to the video of “Nymphomaniac” which was promoted in MTV’s Headbangers Ball. Their third album Red (Discos Manicomio / PolyGram) came out in 1996 in coproduction with Billy Gould and Matt Green.
