Biography
Hailing from the burgeoning Dundee music scene in Scotland, Luva Anna are beginning to lift their profile all over Britain. Folk-tinged 4-part harmonies, lead from the front as their songs shift and change, uniquely different from the last, their many different influences shinning through. In little more than two years, the band have played over 150 gigs, taking in an Academy tour (1500 + Capacity venues), and 2 British toilet tours with The View and The Law, 4 festivals (T in the Park, Rock Ness, Belladrum and Connect Festival), two headline tours of Scotland in renowned venues such as The Doghouse, King Tuts and Cabaret Voltaire. They have received airplay on XFM Scotland (Jim Gellatly), BBC Scotland (Vic Galloway), Radio 1 (Zane Lowe, Vic Galloway), Radio 2 (Steve Lamacq), and have also been featured in publications such as The Skinny, Reverb Magazine, The Real State, The Scotsman, The List Magazine, The Sunday Mail.
