Lovers Grave is a 5 piece hardcore band hailing from Melbourne, Australia.
Whilst still relativley young, the band has gained alot of interest from the local scene. After only releasing a two song demo, the band had already been put on the 2010 'Mistake Tour' featuring local heavyweights Confession and Thy Art Is Murder.
In August 2010 the band released their first EP, 'Dead City'. The EP was applauded by many critics with Blunt Magazine noting its 'complicated down-tuned riffing' and impressive vocals from frontman Dillon Rivers. In the same publication, the EP was voted by the public in the top 3 EP's of 2010, losing out to international bands The Devil Wears Prada and Alexisonfire. The band is not getting carried away, frequently stating that they were not happy with the EP.
Currently the band writing and constructing their debut album, which is expected for a mid 2012 release.
