Biography
Koha- the begining of our band started in Struga, where we come from,and it was the year of 2004 when Vigan (guitarist) which was playing in another band known as “Happy Faces” decided that he needed a band of his own, which could bring more “life” to the dead city of Struga.In that time there werent albanian bands on this gender that played beside “Shekulli dreqit”, so it was really a big step to be made.He met Luan (the other guitarist) and together started to build the bend which in the begining was called “ La Garage” .After finding all the members of the bend which included the bass player Urimi,the drumer Niki and of course the singer they made a song,using their own material sources ,called “Nuk e Di”,this was the time when they got the name “Koha” .With this song they participated live for the first time in Kerçova “Festi Dituris” -2004 and got the award of “Best band”. This was a great begining which made the band eaven more ambicious.With the help of Agim Koshka they participate with a song “Keq me ty, keq pa ty” in Nota Fest 2006 where they got the price of “Best orchestra work”. They made a new song, “Kur djalli dashuron nje engjull” which was the song that had to participate in “Nota Fest” .Just before the participations the band was divided,everything seemed like dead end in the time.But the guys performed without the bass player and the drumer, and were nominated for “The best new artist”.After a time, the ex band members wanted a reunion,and that was the time they made a new song “Misteri” ,it was a perfect song. But yet the bad luck was still there, from personal reasons the drumer had to leave in America, also the bass player had personal problems and the band divided again.But the other members of the band did not give up, they started to look for new members and by the end of 2007 they found a new bass player Bari, and a drummer Artan. The band was on again.They made their best song “Ender e njejt” and participated in “Top Fest 5 “ Tirana this year.. After this the band again participated in "Top Fest 6" and released the song "Zgjohu".currently working on the album.
