New recording, Songs, is wonderful. Think West Texas dust storm combined with Woody Guthrie with just a piece of a camp side fire and stories with the heart of the prairie. Yes, tis that good.

Just saw him a few days ago and he's by far my favorite new artist. He shared the bill with other bands and artists (including Jackie Greene) that I know and love, but he outshone them all! Amazing.
