Biography
Joseph Green (born December 20, 1996), professionally known as Joeyy (often stylized as Jxxyy), is an American recording artist and record producer from Providence, Rhode Island. He is the founder of #1Team.
Joeyy began making music in early 2011, releasing his first project To: You From: My Mind in April of that year. After a slew of mixtapes, Joeyy would take a two-year hiatus — coming back with Love Cycle in 2013 and Unreleased in 2014.
Proceeding the release of those two projects, Joeyy would seemingly quit music for another four years. His return wouldn’t be until February 2018 with the EP God Left, which striked a new, polished sound from him.
Joeyy gained considerable exposure after becoming an employee of comedian Sam Hyde somewhere around 2018. He was also featured in the popular YouTuber iDubbbz's documentary "Getting Away with It," which itself was an exposé of sorts on Hyde. Unbeknownst to iDubbbz, Joeyy played an exaggerated version of himself; a burgeoning rapper from the slums trying to make it in the industry, with Sam Hyde as his sponsor.
