After studying analysis, orchestration and composition with Hacène Larbi, Jérôme Combier entered the Paris Conservatory in 1997 in the classes of Emmanuel Nunes for composition and Michaël Levinas for analysis. Resident at the Fondation Royaumont in 1998, he then effected a stay in Japan.
