In the Midst of Lions are a deathcore band that include a mixture of fast-paced tech metal and melodic worship, their music can be compared to such contemporaries as The Faceless, Meshuggah and Veil of Maya. ITMOL's truth comes under the guise of death metal laced with explosive breakdowns and powerful live shows. During summer 2012, due to an inability for band members to tour with the band, they decided to call it quits.
