No Holier Temple is clearly the superior album. Hope they revisit that sound again...

Love this new album. Magic is still here.

I prefer No Holier Temple sound-wise to When We Are Death, I like the folk-y atmospheric sound over the more rock vibe. That being said the new album has some of Hexvessel's best songs to date. Green Gold and Mirror Boy are unbelievably beautiful.

The new album doesn't resonate with me. :( Not because it's no good, but because I've never liked psychedelia. They've taken a step away from folk music, and I don't think I'm comfortable with that. Even so, I recognize that the album is top notch in its own category.

Hmmm.. I'm not feeling the new album. Perhaps it needs more time for it to grow on me?

Quite different from their previous albums, though absolutely fantastic as usual.
